Board Member
Misty serves the Pueblo Senior Community full time as Community Liaison at Abode Home Healthcare of Pueblo, CO. She enjoys her ability to help coordinate and deliver medical services to patients in the home setting, and assist the families with setting up community resources to help people safely stay in their home during times of medical crisis. Misty also serves her local Seventh-Day Adventist Church on both the Hospitality and Health and wellness Ministries. Having a BS Psych degree, she enjoys the opportunity to make a difference by supporting expectant Mothers emotionally, spiritually, or psychologically. Her ultimate passion and mission is to support, educate and guide all families towards resources for healthy living and dietary and fitness education.


President/Executive Director
Noel Baros is a Doula Care Provider, and she is also the President and Executive Director of La Doula Amor. Noel has worked diligently in collaboration with many community partners in the Pueblo community to serve children and families for over 5 years. She is a trained birth doula through DONA International. Noel is a trained Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, trained in Trauma Informed Care, and High-Fidelity Wraparound of Care, and a trainer of Adverse Childhood Experiences with a special focus on trauma, adversity, and toxic stress. Noel's passion is working those who are suffering from various types of trauma and adversity to heal and build resilience while working to integrate the 5 Protective factors to strengthen families as a whole.

Board Member
Lee Hodge is a Deputy Director for Pueblo County Department of Human Services. His career has included work within the fields of child welfare and assistance programs. He routinely on various committees dedicated to helping children and families. A military veteran, Lee often volunteers time to assist former and current military members in finding community resources. Lee also gives his time to coaching sports and mentoring workers in helping professions.
Board Member
Anna currently serves children and families full time at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center as a Community Coordinator in Pueblo, Colorado. Anna’s strengths and experience integrating work from micro to macro settings have allowed her to effectively launch the first Infant and Toddler Court Program using the Safe Baby Court Teams approach. She supports the local Dependency and Neglect Systems Reform (DANSR) initiatives to help advance her efforts in the Safe Baby Court and support institutional leadership and service providers to improve the experiences of all families in court-supervised child welfare cases. She comes to the Board of Directors as an MSW with passion, education, and experience in community organizing, planning, and administration.
